Capitalist Hellscape

Capitalist hellscape, Materialist wastes, Humanity eroded, Our values sold, The spiritual locked away, Job description; slave, Imagination held captive, You are not to dream, Not think the past adverts on a glowing screen, Go back to work, Don't cause a fuss, Be greatful for 30 minutes rest on a bus, If you're not greatful, There's always police, Kick you in the shins and stamp on your feet, You're already in a cell, A living hell, Perhaps you didn't notice the walls? They're hidden well, So often are we told, We're free, Hip hip hurrah democracy, The west is best, Or so we're told, So to be bold I'll say, Of the corporate machine; It's the best propaganda the world has seen.
