Captured

A moth drawn to a flame, captured inside.

By a spark in his heart, that widens his eyes.

Consumed by flickering wonder,

His heartbeat rages like roaring thunder.

A boy drawn to a girl, captured inside.

By a spark in his heart, that widens his eyes.

Consumed by a girl,

He lays sleepless, head in a whirl.

Thinking of her, her glowing smile.

Her electric vibration and deadly beguile.
