Capturing My Dream

A photographer can capture a million thoughts in a single slow shutter shot

A journalist can transform the perspective of a nation by revealing the emotions of a helpless population

A photojournalist can open the eyes of the people through removing the lense cover and expression on a once blank sheet of paper

My possibilities to impact this world as a photojournalist are endless

With my passion to acknowledge those in countries whose voices have faded too faint to hear

and my drive to travel paths many have grown too afraid to steer

One job may not only change my life but the lives of those many avoid to hear

With a college degree my dream could become my reality
