Cardio God

you decided i needed open heart surgery

so you found the dullest blade you could

and began to rub it against my chest

until the skin finally began to tear

until the dark red juice began to leak

leak down my pale skin

i was crying out in agony

i was begging you to stop

but you kept going

digging it deeper and deeper and deeper

until you reached my heart-

and there it was,

barely bleeding, barely beating

and you pushed the blade in

as far as you could,

until it exploded against the walls,

and the light in my eyes disappeared

and you,

you were finally satisfied

with the damage.
