Care For Me Please
Care for me please
I will make your home pretty
All I need is sun, soil, and water
A window sill will be fine
For the place I will be
Care for me please
My sisters and me
We are beautiful deep purple
With leaves of bright green
Our petals are like dresses
We stand up tall
Letting all our beauty out
Just for you
Care for me please
I don’t like to be in the bitter cold
I can’t stand the splitter spatter of the rain
Nor the scorching heat from the summer sun
Leaves are my enemy,
Trying to be prettier than I
And the wind blowing my poor petals away
Care for me please
This is all I will ask for
It is not very much
I am not worried about me though
It is my sisters I care about
I am the oldest of three
And I say they are prettier than I
Care for me please
You don’t have to worry about me
Just make sure my sisters are safe
And well taken care of
Please take care of them please
