Caring

Caring is not an advantage for us
Giving a fuck is like a death sentence
To think about the fate of tiny Rus
My priest begs me to think of repentance
To surrender and think on my few sins
To stop running and let the world catch up
The cloak I have made is filled with pins
As I try to place the dice in dice cups
If I win, I can hide for forever
My family says that I shouldn’t hide
That I shouldn’t try to be more clever
I try to say that worrying my mind
With things that happened very long ago
Will end with someone whispering “I Know”
