Carry the name
Like a sword and shield
protecting my pride
I ride, I ride, I ride,
this is the cost to be a boss
now I think of where I came from
and the work that was put in
what lead to all my triumph and bought me to all my outcomes
To find myself
I had to get lost in my thoughts
write what was what
when all was a scramble,
I found life in all the rumble
the shakes of my hand
tremble with each press of the keys
for my emotion is high
like tides in the ocean,
like an addict oding.
I carry my name like a part of a breeze
connected to a wind and flowing with a howel
you can hear work, work of grind stone,
of sleepness nights and caffeine mornings
I get it when self improvement means self destructions
meaning I embodied a phoenix on the raise.
to make a play for c notes and stacks
good or bad I carry my name,
the blood in my vein,
the decision to bare the pain
when we lost pieces
I change the games
I carry the name, I carry the name,
like blood in my veins,
pumping dope, I stay dope
something official with no honor comes no hope
I mean what you see is your you
fighting a mirror you
only to defeat the inner you
get its all in a dream
bring it with you how ever it takes.
you carry the name until you realize the name carries you
