Carry You As You Carried Me
Because I Love You,
When you can't walk, I will carry you.
With a helpful hand I will care to you,
With a listening ear I will share to you,
And with my advice I will be fair to you.
Because I Love You,
When you can't stand, I will be your legs.
I will make sure you don't fall when you're close to a ledge.
If you're going down, I will protect your precious head.
And if you break, I'll fix up every edge.
Because I Love You,
When you can't fly, I will be your wings.
I will heal your wounds when you're hit with life's painful sting.
When evil things cling to you, only good things I will sing to you.
And attached will be no strings, because to you I owe these things.
Because You Love Me.
When I could not walk, you carried me.
And when I could not stand, you were me legs.
And when I could not fly, you were my wings.
To you I owe these things, because You Love Me.
And because I Love You.
