Casket Of Ivory

The day was cold,

And your eyes were weary,

As you lain encased

In a casket of ivory

Such pain like this penetrated my soul,

And I, too, collapsed; and my brokenness shown.

The day was cold

And our eyes were weary

As we lain encased

In a casket of ivory.

In case you don't get the drug reference, "King Ivory" is a term for Fentanyl, a chronic pain medication, which if you overdose on it, can kill you. Hence the name "Casket Of Ivory".
