caskets

Life moves,

Passes in unbelief,

With too many words

And not enough action.

Too many people…

Way too many people.

They’re all full of lies,

The insects crawling under their skin

Somehow forced them

To speak an inevitable lie

That for some reason we believe.

Cultures ruined

Men all at war

With no one

But the ones they hate

The ones that are themselves.

Prisons are filled

With the hopeless,

Relentless souls

That feed off the hate they receive.

And here we are

Living a life

That we hate

For the sake of others

To live theirs completely.

So, take this

And keep it close,

You’ll need it.
