Casualty
Please shut the door
I’m not feeling well
I just can’t anymore
I wish you could tell
I’m tired of your control
Tired of your words
I feel empty in my soul
My heart’s fleeing like a flock of birds
Fleeing from commitment
Fleeing from love
The price of life an unpayable rent
My body falling from far above
Falling from happiness
Falling from health
Trying to run from this
But falling behind myself
Cause me myself and I
Is slowly becoming true
Continuing to tell the same old lie
I’m good, I’m fine, I’m happy too
Lies, flowing from my mouth so easily
I’m hurting, I’m scared, I don’t want to live
More of these are the truth of me
There’s nothing left for me to give
I don’t want your pity
I don’t want your pain
I want to get out of the sorrow-filled city
The one that is located in my brain
In my head, my arm rises
I can’t control myself
My ideas coming in all different sizes
Threatening my health
Do it, society sang
As it turned a blind eye
BANG
Now they will turn back and cry
What a tragedy
Far too young
But then, to them I was just another casualty
