Cat

A cat is not a dog Nor a fuzzy little pillow Nor yet a cuddly friend A cat cannot be approached A cat cannot be a follower For a lack of a cat, There is no less loneliness A cat cannot be canoodled He is not easily won over He is not a distant pen pal But neither is he a close neighbor Stuck between a friend and a stranger I cannot trade my cat Maybe I should, but I would not want to endure his wrath
