cat scratches

you blame the cuts on the cat

hiding your blade behind your back

one scratch

two scratch

three scratch

the pain leaks down your arms

the force of your life dripping from your body

you contemplate ending it

to just let yourself go

no one will miss you anyways

right?

wrong.

you will be missed

your parents will think it is their fault

your sibings broken

your friends will think of you when they see things you used to do

no one will forget you

the cat you blame your scratches on will wonder where you went

so put the blade down

stop scarring your flesh and your soul

throw the blades away

go get help

they are there for you to go to

your mother

father

brother

sister

best friends

people who love you

will miss you

so drop the blade

and bandage your pretty little arms
