Catching Heat

I squat when it's hot,

Poised, prepped, pumped for the pitch

Mind gears revved for the play in the pipe

This is my vision, this is my game, I call the hurls

And the cannon fire shreds the air, stitched orb ruling over all

The roster spot is mine; more work ahead...

Rawhide aroma in nostrils waft

Dirt and dust dinged diamond

Calls my name, I am the game

Train, some pain, more gain

The sky is the limit, the ball knows and pushes gravity away

Like a magnet the diamond draws me and I can't dodge it

Destiny by design; There is future fame

I love this game...
