“STOP CATEGORIZING!!” Don’t categorize me by the color of my skin, the way I talk, the music I tend to listen to.
Don’t say I’m a certain race just because I might fit some of the characteristics.
Don’t categorize me by if my lips are big or if my butt is small.
Don’t categorize me by my hair texture.
Don’t categorize because you say all black women are this way or they are that way.
If you want to put me in a category put me in the one that says I’m a human.
Put me in the one that says I am a believer.
Put me in the one that says I am intelligent, responsible, thoughtful, appreciative, thankful, respectful, caring, loving, and dependable.
Put me in a category that says I am a good person
Don’t judge me by stereotypes. I am a beautiful individual in my own way and so is every other person and race.
You are black because you have hair like wool.
You are white because you like pumpkin pie
You are Asian because you are good at math
You are Mexican because you like Tacos.
These do not make a person a certain race.
“STOP CATEGORIZING,” because it can be offensive. You might think it’s just a small saying that may or may not be true, but it’s hurtful to some who are not strong minded. Just think of everyone as humans and don’t treat them different because of their habits.
