Cats and ...

Deuteronomy 8:2-4

2 Remember the whole way by which he has brought you these forty years through the wilderness so that he might, by humbling you, test you to see if you have it within you to keep his commandments or not. 4 Your clothing did not wear out nor did your feet swell all these forty years

Cats

Clothes piled on a chair

Washed and clean but wrinkled

It does not seem fair

That this routine repeats every day

Ready to pull my hair

As attitudes mingle

Thoughts come in from everywhere

Life seems to be this way

Why not be like a cat or bear?

Who are made to twinkle

a furry coat that's always there

no washing and drying every day
