Caught

We are only seventeen, But you are like my nicotine. I want you, need you, So the days aren't blue. Your touch electrifies And your eyes are a stormy sky. Yet somedays they are the swaying sea, Capturing me and never letting me free. Whether I'm awake or dreaming, You are in my mind gleaming. You are a thief of my thoughts, One that will never be caught. My heart wants to run away with you, For what we have I pray is true. You are my desire, A forest overcome by fire.
