Caught Daydreaming

Violets are blue,

Roses are red.

This may be backwards,

But so is my head.

Ever since day one,

This has happened.

My heart speeds a race,

And you are the captain.

My eyes shy to the left,

But then I am caught,

By that star in your eyes,

And I am lost in wonder.

Wonder and thought.
