Caught in the Motion

Fake a smile to walk a mile

I'm tired of playing charades

Little Boy Blue, I understand his pain

Although our stories are not the same

The sun is bright but holds no heat

My life feels vague, a bit incomplete

No more tricks upon my sleeves

Barely standing on my own two feet

Have things always been this way?
