Caught Up In My Hair

My hair dangled from flag pole

While others surrounded me with laughter

If only they knew how long this mane took to comb

My hair cannot be cut nor styled

I stand out when in the halls

My hair gets caught between every crack

As i run oh so very fast

Trying to beat the bell

But i always show up last to class

Being Repunzel is not easy

Having so much hair causes arruptions

My insta selfies are messy

And when trying to take a pic outside

My hair devours the sky

My friends trip on the tangled balls on the floor

as others tend to remain at distance

It is hard to stand by others

when my hair takes up all spaces

I also lose my pencils

and sometimes some assignments

but do not fret

I always find them

sometimes next to ariel's father's trident

My name is Repunzel

And I am proud of who I am

I just sometimes wish

my hair was not wrapped around the principal's hands
