Cause and Consequence
Count on your fingers
With a blood tipped wing
Times that you flew free
Times that all people sing
In the moments of peace
Hailing our prosperity
As we fail to consider
Those who fell to disparity
Life holds a truth of balance
Even as it hides how it's fairWith action comes consequence
The famous inseparable pair
