This Cave of Mine

Stone walls with ornate designs; expectations. Radiant crystal gems all around; all forms of perfection. The Screen of Life, front and center; the only contact. No opening, no visitors. No interference. Silence, except for the occasional raindrop leaking from above. With no opening, however, I begin to suffocate. The cave grows in volume. I’m smaller, smaller, but still, I begin to suffocate. Raindrops to drizzles; drizzles to torrents; the cave walls erode. Porous are the cave walls; many openings, still no visitors. Blinding are the crystal gems; I must comply with their will. Glitching is the Screen of Life; all I can do is turn around. Water floods it all. Still no visitors. Where do— The hammer cocks back; silence, except for the rain shower inside my home.
