The Caverns Below

The ceilings drip with gold
The walls as jagged as knifes
The nights are dark and cold
But the beauty can give day life

If you get lost, you better hurry
Sharp rocks and slippery stones
Will catch you in a scurry
Survival is best if not alone

Its jaws lure you to enter its domain
Once you do, you’ll never exit the same
Its beauty sings to reach your mind
Till all around they’ll search till they find

Will it be you, or an empty shell?
You better not get lost, let me tell
It’s a beautiful danger, let me say
For all is well till it brings you pain

Beware of the caverns below
Their edges have a marvelous glow
But don't be fooled by its beautiful array
Watch your back, or be betrayed
