I was in love with CC

It was a love that would always be

But then one day things turned around

And CC left me on the ground

I was left bruised and battered

And mentally my brain was scattered

I felt constantly pressured

Because I never felt treasured

Stole time from me and my friends

Running those miles that would never end

I'm sorry to say it's time to let  go

Even though I’ll never say so

Cross Country It is time to finally say

My love for you is gone away
