Celebration

Dear Birthday Girl,

There's

a sharp ringing in my ears.

a pulsing throb in my feet.

a flash of a camera.

Music blasting,

Bodies dancing,

People singing off key -

        A party celebrating a new age -

I can't wait to go home,

to sleep.

Hope you have a great birthday
