Cemetery

Golden graves
A mist covers the grass
An angel looms,
A shadow of pasts

The mind plays tricks on those paying their respects
Sorrow lies in the air and ground
Too many graves…
too many lives cut short

The emotions are suffocating
Morning light turns to scorching heat
The emotions won’t go away
