Central Park

The air grew crisp, a gentle, fading light, Holding promise in the autumn air. Evening veiled the city, soft and bright. Distant laughter floated on the breeze, And then I saw you, standing near the spray, You, who would change my world with such great ease. Walking slowly, by the fountain's gleam, Each droplet catches starlight in its fall. My heart began to whisper of a dream, Enchanting beauty held me in its thrall. Through changing leaves, a moment pure and deep. In that hushed space, where shadows softly creep. Night began to weave its gentle spell. Circling water, telling tales to tell. Every star above, a silent, hopeful sign, New beginnings felt so truly mine. Touching souls, though words were yet unspoken. Radiant joy, a bond that would not be broken. All around us, the park is in a mellow hue. Lost in time, beneath the deepening blue. Passions stirred, a feeling fresh and new. All my hopes found their reflection there. Reveling in the magic in the air. Kindred spirits, meeting in the night. Pondering futures, bathed in gentle light. Artist's palette, painted on the sky. Shared glances, as we drifted by. Secret smiles, a language understood. In that quiet, leafy neighborhood. Nurturing seeds of what was meant to bloom. Graceful shadows chased away the gloom. Beneath the moon, a silent, sweet accord. Yearning hearts, by destiny adored. And then I knew, my journey found its guide. Fate had brought us, walking side by side. On that autumn eve, beside the fountain's flow, Underneath the stars, love began to grow. Newfound happiness, a precious, gentle art. Truly, love began that night, within my heart. All that mattered was this brand-new start. In that park, where beauty filled the scene. Now forever etched, this moment is serene. In autumn's glow, where dreams took flight. Near the fountain, in the fading light. The night we met was a memory so dear. Holding you close, and wishing you were near. Every whisper, every gentle sigh. An autumn night, beneath a watchful sky. Under stars that shimmered, clear and bright. To find my soulmate in the fading light. Until this day, my world felt incomplete. Meeting you there made everything so sweet. Now I understand what life truly means. In Central Park, beneath the moonlit scenes. Giving thanks for that enchanted night. Holding onto this pure, guiding light. To you, my love, with all my heart I write.
