Century of Denial
Truth sometimes is stranger than fiction,
Facts get twisted with lies in contradiction.
The truth can no longer hide,
Turkey is guilty of our genocide.
Ottoman Empire had the genocidal mentality,
They destroyed our faith in humanity.
1915 was systematic extermination,
Situation of complete degradation.
Deep wounds that never healed
Lives of people that forever ceased.
How can we forget our history?
Our ancestors' cities: Van, Kars, and Erebuny.
Our revenge is simply to live,
1.5 million lives, how can we forgive?
We know a change can only come,
As we stand together and become
Tolerant which is people's virtue in this life,
Victory through unity, we should strive.
