The Cerebral Cortex

The Cerebral Cortex

Why is it so hard to type on this keyboard?
I really can't find anything to write about.
Please don't slam the door with me sitting right here.
Seriously, could you be any more annoying?
Maybe I could write about the stupid dog that craps on the floor,
And the emotional response I have to cleaning it up.
That's not actually a good topic, is it?
I smell bacon now, and it's almost time for lunch; strange.
There better be bacon left when I get downstairs.
Oh but I can't eat bacon, it's too unhealthy.
Maybe I'll cheat my diet for today.
Ehhhh, I've already had a coke or two this week.
Maybe I should go to the gym?
Oh crap, I have to write this poem.
Why do I get so distracted from any real content?
It's as if I am just writing things down as they pop into my head.
Is that a good word? Pop?
Maybe.....no I don't want cheetos....ew.
I really can't think of any words to replace "pop" with.
I think I should put quotation marks around pop, too.
Maybe some inspiration from TV?
Nope, I really don't care about your extensive industry services.
And a commercial for an internet provider I already have?
Shouldn't they block those after I've already paid for their provisions?
I guess I'll come back to this later,
I have to go practice for graduation.
Are those ceremonies even necessary?
I guess now I'm just coming up with stuff to end this poem...
Maybe with a thought...
