Ceremony

She runs though the greenest gardens chasing the lover she only knew

But while she runs time fails her

More often than not she finds herself

Sitting under a familiar hollow tree gathering her thoughts

Thoughts of happiness and bliss

Wearing the white gown while slow dancing

With the guy she would spend her entire life with

Celebrating Halloween on Christmas

Cuddling under the fireplace in their favorite pajamas

Not caring what the future holds

Living in their present

Spending every moment exploring their world together

Finding something new to love everyday

When her eyes blink twice,

She realizes if its all even possible

Is their even a place for her in this era

Or will she have to wait until another lifetime?
