Certainty Within the Unknown
Similar to an organism held under a microscope,
They analyze me for any signs of progress.
Eager eyes watch me
Anticipating,
Waiting for something to happen;
For anything to happen.
While my next move remains a mystery -even to myself-
Surely I do not intend to remain stagnant.
I am full of hopes and wishes and
and the knowledge that there may be a million ways to get there.
"Choose a career!"
Screams the world around me,
"Choose a path!"
But I have yet to live within the realms of reality that would allow me to make such a decision.
There are a hundred things I know for certain,
And a million more that leave me in the dark.
Undoubtedly, I want success.
I want the morning to find me in a state of excitement,
Radiating satisfaction with my life and where I am going with it.
Above all, I seek happiness.
What is my dream job, you may ask?
To be an advocate for my own happiness
Through the uncertainties found in the paths
That I may stumble across along the way.
