The Chain

Life goes on,

Whether we will it or not,

In an unforgiving chain--

And it makes us free.

Whether we will it or not,

Another day is seen

And it makes us free.

We spread our wings.

Another day is seen.

At times, people are lost.

So we spread our wings

And carry regret.

People are lost--

Whether we will it or not--

And so we carry regret

In an unforgiving chain.

And it makes us free.
