The Chained Assassin
In the mist of desire dawdling in the abyss
Arrived an unexpected visitor, so clever and quick wit
Crumbled thy wall, made to contain the bliss
My guards were never prepared; their lights were never lit
Slithering so discreetly, oh the secrets that under lie
One by one they fell, without force, without pride
Struck by an incomplete piece, a spirit that will never cry
A damsel in distress, forced to pick a side
Lost in lust of the darkest shade
She travels the world with chains and shackles
Naïve and curious my hand I gave
And once again she rose on her ankles
In the silence of the storm, I was eye to eye
Tension slowly rose and rose so high
Down she struck from the peak of the sky
She returned to her master, crippled I sigh
I fear this is life and love is a lie
It’s a cycle; contagious...in the end we die
