Chained to a Letter

"Knowledge is power", they said.

Can't spell "scholar" without the letter "A,"

so the pursuit of knowledge is dead.

Labled "GPA,"

this trivial weight we hopefuls drag

will be the death of us, someday.

And we will be left with

nothing

but the letter "A."
