Chains
You should never tell anyone anything.
Because it’s sometimes when they leave you realize how hard it is to accept the pain it brings.
You miss them so much and you never know when you will see them again.
You remember all the good times and everything that happened then.
Friendship is a chain.
Distance is the rain.
Like most chains in rain they begin to rust
And when you do see each other again you have to once again find trust.
When they don’t remember a thing about you it hurts.
And you literally have to go through every bit of memorabilia to make it work.
If they end everything between you it makes you think why.
And it can hurt so much you can feel a tear in your eye.
Like chains, friendships break, can be forged, and can be fake.
I guess that’s why I am the way I am now because many broke like an old rake.
I just wish I could change the way I was in past.
But what’s done is done and that broken chain is going to last.
