Chains

This shaking in my bones

will never cease

I quiver with fear,

the fear of the unknown.

What will become of me

if I were to think the truth.

To let myself be free,

at least in my mind.

I am in chains.

Invisible, they keep me under

bubbles form, but never burst.

Will the truth really set me free?
