Chains Are Gone
One, two, three,
Each minute passes,
Slowly I am set free.
The chains that once had me bound
Have fallen now, are not around.
The grip of emotions from in my past,
Have come and gone and I'm free at last.
From sin's curse and judging me,
Each link falls gone and then they flee.
The demons that had me way back when,
Has lost the battle, for I did win.
Though it tries and tries to bring me down,
I will not let it, I will stand my ground.
In the name of Jesus I will stand,
I will stand firm until the very end.
