Chalk

I was fat

and a kid

but I hid

all of that

in my head

in my heart

I stayed quiet

just did my part

everyday rejection

no social interaction

never got a reaction

chalk it up to parent problems

move on to the next town

do it all again

sometimes good

most times bad

but always sad

work it out

work it hard

break my back

buy a car

ignore the scares

chalk it up to addiction problems

move on to the next one
