Chameleon
So focused on blending in
to those around you
that you never show
your own colors.
So focused on fitting
into the crowd
that you never share
your many talents.
So nervous that you'll
be rejected
that you never speak up
or give your opinion.
So adaptable,
to life,
that you hide in any
and every situation.
You are just
hiding your true,
beautiful, self
behind a closed curtain
You are trying too hard,
to obtain the
unobtainable;
perfection.
And although you may
find yourself
loving person you
have become.
You tire of being a chameleon.
