Champagne Eyes

I'm always the girl to keep my cool Never showed emotions for a guy I liked in school But that day when I was walking up the stairs I glanced at you and got trapped in your stare Champagne colored eyes, glazed in honey Made my stomach feel kind of funny Caught off guard, I realized I looked at you a second too long But your eyes too were following along In a snap, with just a simple eye contact We felt attracted, but none of us ever reacted And even though weeks have passed by Your eyes still have me mesmerized Til this day when we see each other in the hallway We still look at one another with the same passion that was there the first day.
