A Chance

To those who care you don't

To those who understand you don't

Because these sticks and stones broke my bones that no cast can heal

To be beyond broken means to no repair

To be alive means I would have to be living but how

This uphill battle we live can only end with us tumbling down

As we're down who can help

Who's going to be the person that will sacrifice everything to lend a hand

Because in life if just given the chance the opportunity we can stand

To those who care you don't

To those who understand you don't

Unless you try to then give it a shot
