Chances

1 Corinthians 15:33

33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

Chances (phil)

Taking chances through the changes.

always getting out on the limb.

Sometimes by choice … sometimes through habits

and that makes survival dim.

Is it a slipping and a sliding

this new culture made by man.

Hanging on is not the issue

just the bruises by falling then.

It is like getting into the jungle

of a baldman's lack of hair.

You wished a strand would help you tickle

as you slide down over your head.

You hit your nose with that bouncy ride

and at the tip you dive for cover

into a mustache nor well kept

and you feel safe as you crawl and hover.

Then a sound … a blowing wind.

Is he sneezing or just blowing?

Is it clear or a slimy mess?

Is it too late now for the knowing?

I guess I wound up either way.

All slick and wet … a slime-ball.

If I had to do it over again.

I would pick another bald one.
