Chances

Chances like this happen once in a while And they bring wonderful things When times seem bleak They are the bright in the dark Chances for me to go to college Chances for me to have a life This is what I strive for To make a life for myself That was better than my childhood For my life alone And although this might seem petty I do this for myself And to prove myself That maybe it all will get better
