A Change

Every morning I take a deep breath

I know its a blessing to be here today

Whenever I look out my window all I see is people destroying their lifes everyday

Sometimes I wonder if they have ever thought about a change

What would happen if I asked them one day

Its time for you to change

But I know they will look back at me like im strange

Its time for me to be brave

I dont want to raise my children in this place

Im the only one my parents believe that will go far

Too much pressure for just one girl

I once made a promise I will make a difference

That promise will come true

I promise.
