Change

What I would change?

What would that be?

Something grand, something large, is so beyond me!

Or is it really?

To lend a hand

to someone passing me in the halls

on the street

in a store

changing the apathy of strangers would be quite a feat!

A smile

a grin

a happy countenance

bringing a little joy to every person that I meet

Is that change that I wish to bring!

Solving world hunger

Ending wars of mankind

Creating a Utopia

of course that is a change I would wish to bring!

But to do so is beyond just you and me.

So the small changes that I can make

to bring about

kindness, strength, tranquility

is what I will do for now

So that someday

it will be natural to help strangers passing by

and to wish the happiness of all of who we meet

So that the world's problems will cease to be

all we need is a little

Change
