change
if i could
i would trace soft curves with a paintbrush
and take an eraser to my flaws.
if i was
strong enough, i would drape what already exists with cloth
brave enough, i would outline brash lines around my flaws
if i could
i would stain my skin a different color
and shade a smile with a pencil
if i was
exotic enough, i would soak myself in
intriguing enough, i would sharpie along the conturs
if only i could
i would
if only i was
enough
