CHANGE
What would I change
something you hear lot
coming from our role-models
teachers, parents
But in truth who knows
what to change
what to change
what is there to change
People say I would change myself
They say I would change someone's life
something about someone
I would change the bad in this world
to the good in this world
But in truth I would change the bad
the bad flaws, that is
I would change peoples hearts if I could
I would get them to care more
I get them to change from dirtying the earth
to cleaning this world we live in
I would change that people
don't appreciate the elders
we have so much to learn
that they can teach us
I would change
the way we speak to one another
In this world we live in
there is so much disrespect and hate
I would change
the ignorant and closed minded
to open their eyes and minds
to everything this world has to offer
All in all I would change
the bad in this world
to the good in this world
