Change

Change can be wanted or disallowed

Some people accept change

But some can't stand something being world renowned

Change is a powerful thing

It can bring about hope

It can make  people want to sing

Change is essential to life

It's like air, food, water

We need it like a chef needs his knife

Change can't be haulted or prevented

It's just something that happens

Sometimes things just need to be reinvented

Without change the world would just stand still

As does a stone in the desert

Or the congressmen on Capitol Hill
