Change

Something I would change,

Though it might sound kind of strange,

That more people would have the heart of a servant,

Being very, very fervent.

Don't get me wrong,

This doesn't mean not being strong.

Simply to have a servant's heart

And do your part.

You must take time to observe,

And see how you can best serve.

Maybe you need to read someone's shrug

And offer them a hug.

Take out the trash

Or bandage up a gash.

Help someone show courage,

Write a note to encourage.

Help before they have to ask,

It'll give you pleasure in which you can bask.

Love is what it's about,

There's absolutely no doubt.

Just be there,

And show people you care.

Your help and wisdom impart

With your servant's heart.
