Change

The 1% possesses more money than the 99% combined while the poor begs for change.

You ask me what I would change?

A single mother works days and nights

While her child with hunger it fights.

The poor are denied a decent education

Or even a proper living location.

You ask me what I would change?

The rich are green with greed

While the poor have compassion for those in need.

They buy planes and boats

While others struggle for bread loaves.

Yet, you ask me what I would change?

The spread of wealth can go long ways.

It can bring upon brighter days.

A climb in opportunity

From a spread of currency.

So ask me, what I would change.
